The Academic General Assembly meeting of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences for 2025 took place on Wednesday, January 22 at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall. IGU Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin, Vice Rector Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı and Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Prof. Kenan Aydin attended to the meeting, which brought together the faculty members.
Sharing the performance indicators and targets determined within the scope of the faculty's 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, AQAS accreditation processes, curriculum development studies and quality processes came to the fore on the meeting agenda. In the meeting held with the participation of the academic staff, evaluations were made regarding the strategic goals of the faculty.
In the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of the faculty members were also listened to and the solutions to the problems experienced in the process of achieving the goals of the faculty were discussed. Feedback from the academic staff was considered as an important step towards the faculty gaining a stronger and more effective structure in the future.
At the end of the meeting, due to their contribution to the curriculum development and quality processes of the faculty, Assoc. Prof. Onur Özdemir, Assoc. Prof. Serkan Demirel Assoc. Prof. Ebru Gül Yilmaz, Lecturer Asst. Prof. Onur Çelik, Asst. Prof. Şükran Kahveci, Res. Asst. Selin Yalçıntaş, Res. Asst. Gökhan Özbilge and Res. Asst. Cengizhan Güler was honored with certificates of appreciation.
The Academic General Assembly meeting was considered as an important step towards strengthening the quality standards of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and achieving sustainable academic success.
