AQAS Evaluation Committee visited the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences within the scope of Accreditation renewal studies

At Istanbul Gelisim University, Türkiye's most internationally accredited university, a meeting was held between December 10-12 with AQAS officials, a member of the International Independent Accreditation Agency and the European Quality Assurance Association, within the scope of discussing and renewing the international accreditation processes of the departments of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences.

Advancing with the vision of "World University", Istanbul Gelisim University achieves success on a global scale with its internationalization policies and qualified education staff. AQAS officials, a member of the European Quality Assurance Association, established in Germany in 2002 and an organization that has evaluated more than 5000 programs worldwide, visited Istanbul Gelisim University within the scope of discussing and renewing the international accreditation processes of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, 24 of which were accredited.



Before the evaluation visit held between 10-12 December, AQAS officials and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli, Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin, Vice Rector for Quality, Accreditation and Internationalization Prof. Arda Öztürkcan and Quality Coordinator Prof.  Hasan Hakan Bozkurt held a meeting. International Accreditation Consultant Jana Newiger and Vi Le from the AQAS Valuation Committee participated. Prof. Marius Gros, Prof. Güray Küçükkocaoğlu, Kayhan Öcal, Konstantin Schultewolter also took part. During the visit process after the meeting held with Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Dean Prof. Kenan Aydın and Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Emrah Doğan and  Asst. Prof. Özlem Tuğçe Keleş, the general structure of the university, the educational opportunities and program curriculum of the departments where the accreditation evaluation of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences was carried out were examined in detail by the AQAS Evaluation Committee.
