Collaboration visit from Pakistan Shah Abdul Latif University to IGU

A group of academicians from Pakistan Shah Abdul Latif University visited Istanbul Gelişim University.

Following the meetings held at the Deanery of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the delegation came together with IGU Vice Rector for Accreditation and Quality Prof. Dr. Nail Öztaş and was informed about the accredited programs of the university and made offers about the possible collaborations.

Head of the Department of Computer Science at Shah Abdul Latif University Prof. Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, stated that universities can benefit from each other's experiences: "Pakistan and Turkey are very close and the two countries have very good friendship. It is important that we share our experiences. Istanbul Gelişim University has a good infrastructure and a very special university position in Turkey. We have a lot to learn from IGU with the collaborations that will take place.

Rector of IGU Prof. Dr. Burhan Aykaç stated that they are ready for any kind of cooperation and added: “We have good relations with Pakistan, but we need to strengthen our relations at university level. Istanbul Gelişim University is also your university”.
