Ezel Akay met with cinematographers at the "Masters" event

The Masters event series, organized by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, continues to bring together the important names of the cinema world with students. Ezel Akay, the experienced director, producer and actor, was the guest of the event, which previously hosted master names such as Bülent Sağlam and Ercan Kesal.

Asst. Prof. Ali Kemal Çipe was the modarator of the event, which took place with intense participation at IGU Firnas Auditorium.  Ezel Akay shared his experiences in the cinema sector and presented guiding information to the students. Emphasizing the important points on the scenario development process, directing preparations and the requirements of being successful in the sector, Akay also conveyed his insights on the understanding of cinema and his career.

During the event, many important issues related to cinema were discussed. While explaining the differences between musical cinema and musical cinema, Akay shared his views on historical films with the participants. Answering students' questions, the master director offered young filmmakers suggestions on how to improve themselves in the industry.


 
At the end of the event, Asst. Prof. Ali Kemal Çipe thanked Ezel Akay for sharing valuable knowledge and experience with the students and presented a plaque. The meeting, which ended with a photo shoot, was greatly appreciated by the participants.
