Full Support from IGU Libraries to Students During the Final Period
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) continues to provide exam-period support to help students carry out their academic work more efficiently during finals week. The Health Sciences Library, located in the A Block Rectorate Building and open 24 hours a day on weekdays, will offer hot soup starting from 5:30 p.m. The library will be open on Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and will be closed on Sundays.
The Central Library, which is open until 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, will operate between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during the exam period.
Moral Support for Students Studying Through the Night
Students studying late into the night at the Health Sciences Library in the A Block Rectorate Building will be able to take a short break and boost their motivation with the free hot soup served every weekday starting from 5:30 p.m. In addition, quiet and orderly study areas, powerful computer equipment, and high-speed internet infrastructure will allow students to continue their exam preparations without interruption.
Easy Access to Academic Resources
The extensive resource collections available in the libraries, along with technological infrastructure and ergonomic study areas, will enable students to study efficiently for long hours. Students will be able to access the academic content they need quickly and easily.
IGU’s Student-Oriented Approach Continues During Finals Week
The soup service offered during exam weeks has been well received by students and stands out as a concrete example of IGU’s student-centered educational approach. University administration stated that such supportive practices will continue in the coming terms and wished all students success in their exams.
