IGU Faculty of Applied Sciences exhibits its achievements!

The exhibition, which included the projects carried out by the departments of the Faculty of Applied Sciences throughout the year, was opened at Istanbul Gelisim University, with the participation of IGU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli and Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin.

The opening speech was made by Prof. Dr. Kamil Kaya, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. IGU Vice Rector Prof. Dr.  Nuri Kuruoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Maraşlı, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Arda Öztürkcan participated in the event. An exhibition was held featuring the projects carried out throughout the year in the Banking and Insurance, Electronic Commerce and Management, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts (Turkish/English), Public Relations and Advertising, Aviation Electrics and Electronics, Aviation Management, English Translation and Interpretation, Television Journalism and Programming, Aircraft Maintenance and Repair at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, New Media and Communication and Management Information Systems departments.

"We are progressing step by step towards becoming a world university"

In his opening speech, Istanbul Gelişim University Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, stated that IGU, which is not content with providing theoretical education to its students, has a very strong application direction and stated that they are in cooperation with the sector. Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin ended his speech with the following words: "We are taking step by step towards becoming the prestigious 'World University' that we aim for. The implementation aspect of IGU, which is not content with providing theoretical training to its students, is quite strong and stated that they are in cooperation with the sector.''

In the exhibition held at Istanbul Gelisim University, which proceeds with the ’Research University’ vision, students and department lecturers exhibited their projects and were informed about the projects that received achievement awards in various institutions.
