IGUSEM visited IGUTÖMER

Istanbul Gelisim University Continuous Education Application and Research Center (IGUSEM) Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Fuat Tuncer and Vice Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Hakan Yıldırım visited Asst. Prof. Dr. Metin Yıldırım, appointed as Director of Istanbul Gelisim University Turkish and Foreign Languages Application and Research Center (IGUTÖMER) and wished him good luck.

During the visit, IGUSEM Director Dr. Fatih Fuat Tuncer wished Dr. Metin Yıldırım good luck for his new position and stated that IGUSEM would like to do many joint projects with IGUTÖMER.

Vice Director of IGUSEM Hakan Yıldırım recalled that Dr. Metin Yıldırım has an experience of senior management in important companies in the private sector, he said that he believes that IGUTÖMER will achieve greater successes from now on.

Director of IGUTÖMER Dr. Metin Yıldırım, expressing his appreciation for the visit, said: “I believe that we will create great works with the projects we will develop together. Centers like TÖMER which provides Turkish language course to the international students within the universities in Turkey has a critical importance for Turkey's public diplomacy. We do not only teach students a language, we also have the chance to introduce them to the culture and hospitality of our country. When students return to their countries, they become volunteer ambassadors of our country. Our students will leave the country with the vision which enhances and improves the relations between their own countries and Turkey. This means a new and powerful tool for the diplomatic power of our country. We will work with this consciousness in our center.”
