Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) and Shumen University faculty members in Bulgaria organized an international group painting exhibition at Nikola Marinov Art Gallery. The exhibition was curated by Prof. İsmet Çavuşoğlu, a faculty member of the Graphic Design Department of Istanbul Gelisim University's Faculty of Fine Arts. The opening of the exhibition was carried out by Istanbul Gelisim University Vice Rector Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı.
This exhibition stands out as a reflection of the artistic collaboration between the two universities. The works in the exhibition offer a broad perspective to art lovers, bringing together the artistic heritage of two different geographies. Asst. Prof. Erdem Çağla,Asst. Profç Ahmet Özel, Assoc. Prof. Metin Kuş, Assoc. Prof. Nuri Sezer, Assoc. Prof. Aysun Cançat, Res. Asst. Ceren İren and Res. Asst. Dilara Mataracı from Istanbul Gelisim University also participated in the exhibition.
This international group exhibition strengthened the collaboration between the two universities with the universal language of art, while providing viewers with the opportunity to discover different artistic approaches. It also enabled artists to be recognized in different cultural contexts by exhibiting their works on an international platform.
