Istanbul Gelisim University attracted great attention at the Thrace Career Fair!

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) participated in the Thrace Career Fair organized by the Human Resources Office of the Presidency and met with prospective students, graduates and representatives of the business world. A wide interaction was provided with the workshops, information sessions and collaborations held at the fair.

Workshops from IGU academicians

Within the scope of the event, the workshops organized by the academicians of Istanbul Gelişim University attracted great attention from students and graduates. Drone Workshop, which was carried out by Lect. Ahmet Bikiç, provided participants with comprehensive information about drone technologies and their areas of use. On the other hand, artificial Intelligence Workshop, conducted by Asst. Prof. Serkan Gönen, provided an interactive experience on artificial intelligence applications and their sectoral effects.








During the fair, one-on-one interviews were held with prospective students and graduates at the Istanbul Gelişim University booth and detailed information was provided about undergraduate and graduate programs, undergraduate transfer opportunities and career opportunities. Visitors had the opportunity to get comprehensive information about the academic and professional opportunities offered by the university.
 
Strong collaborations with the business world

The Thrace Career Fair also offered the opportunity to establish important contacts with leading representatives of the business world. Istanbul Gelisim University officials held cooperation meetings with many sector representatives and opened the doors to new career opportunities for students and graduates. In this context, as a result of the meeting with Sema Sandal, Secretary General of Çanakkale Chamber of Industry and Commerce, an agreement was reached on cooperation and important steps were taken for future joint projects.
While Istanbul Gelisim University continues to contribute to the career development of its students and graduates, it continues to support the employment processes of its graduates by establishing strong collaborations with the business world. IGU will continue to guide its students and graduates by taking part in similar organizations in the future.
