Exhibition named “To Tens of Years”  where photos of recent developments in the last year happened in Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School opened in Gelisim Tower with the participation of students and lecturers Following the speech by Prof. Dr. Nezir KÖSE Director of Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School.

Prof. Dr. Nezir Köse in his speech said: “This activity made special for the tenth year of our institution by our students made us very touched by these teachers. It helped us to remember the pleasant days in the institution and to see clearly the point we came from. I would like to express our gratitude on behalf of our Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli and our Rector Burhan Aykaç. I wish to spend many more years of healthy, successful, pleasant and beautiful education”.

A survey was conducted with hundred students in order to understand the thoughts on the vocational school. Results were put by Head of Department of Public Relations and Advertising, at School of Applied Sciences Asst. Prof. Emel Tozlu Öztay, Head of Marketing and Advertising Lect. Fulya Beteş, Head of Public Relations and Publicity Program Lect. Atilla Akalın, and students İrem Çetin , Meryem Kesikkol, Ahmet Furkan Karaağaç, Hasibe Yavuz, Tarık Kocaosmanoğlu, Aslıhan Özbek, Elif İktimur, Hilal Özçiftçi , Kaan Öztemir, and Şevval Öter.
 
To the research results that 40 percent of the respondents think that there is not a sufficient number of vocational schools in Turkey, and 31 percent of respondents said that they were hesitant about seeing enough interest and importance of vocational schools in our country. 28 percent of the respondents said that they do not believe that vocational schools are enough promoted to attract students.

The exhibition ended with the concert of Music Club students, and the opening cocktail.
