Students met with various industry representatives at the Employment and Career Fair

Within the framework of the My Business Partner Project, which is being implemented within the scope of the ENHANCER Project carried out by Istanbul Gelisim University, an Employment and Career Fair was organized with the contributions of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and Career Development Center. While nearly 50 companies participated in the fair, students had the opportunity to get to know the sectors better by coming together with various sector representatives.

Within the framework of the My Business Partner Project, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Migration Policy Development Center (ICMPD) under the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, within the scope of the ENHANCER Project carried out by Istanbul Gelisim University, an Employment and Career Fair was held on December 5, 2023 with the contributions of the International Exchange and Cooperation Coordination and Career Development Center.

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), which hosts the Employment and Career Fair, offers wide career opportunities to students and graduates. At the opening of the fair, IGU Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin and vice-rectors visited the booths of nearly 50 companies.

While the Employment and Career Fair offered students and graduates the opportunity to get to know the sector leaders, share their resumes and access job opportunities, the participants had the opportunity to get to know the sectors more closely by coming together with various sector representatives. They also had the chance to learn more about the requirements of professional working life. International Migration Policy Development Center (ICMPD) Istanbul Field Monitoring Staff Gülper Kıraç visited My Business Partner Project Employment and Career Fair and added an international dimension to the event.

The Employment and Career Fair has made a significant contribution to students and graduates' direct interaction with the business world, knowledge of job opportunities and shaping their careers. While offering participants a wide range of perspectives, students and graduates were allowed to expand their professional networks with the activities held throughout the fair.
