The Health Technologies Seminar held in cooperation with TEKMER and BAP has been completed!

Health Technologies Seminar was held in cooperation with Gelisim University Technology Center (TEKMER) and Istanbul Gelisim University Scientific Research Projects Office (BAP). In the seminar, the current situation in health technologies was analyzed and government incentives for innovation were mentioned.

With the participation of IGU Health Sciences academicians and related TEKMER companies; he seminar titled "The Future of Health Technologies and the Journey of Innovation: Strategic Roadmap from Idea to Product" was held by Prof. Erhan Akdoğan, previous President of the Presidency of Turkish Health Institutes (TÜSEB), currently Yıldız Technical University Biomechatronics and Robotic Systems Application and Research Center Director.



In the seminar, the current situation in health technologies was analyzed and the factors that will affect the health field towards 2050 were emphasized. In addition, explanations were made about the role of artificial intelligence and automation in health technologies. Financial support and government incentives for innovation were mentioned.



İGU TEKMER Director Hande Ceylan Dayan gave information about the general facilities provided to academicians and students at TEKMER and the supports provided by the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University within the scope of company organizations.



Istanbul Gelisim University Scientific Research Projects Coordinator Asst. Prof. Serap Yeşilkır Baydar talked about the project writing supports provided to academicians and students through BAP and the project topics that can be applied for.
