"Türkiye-Hungary Cultural Partnership and Common Vision Project Symposium" organized by the Diplomacy Foundation hosted by Istanbul Gelisim University was held. At the symposium, deep-rooted historical ties, cultural interactions and political developments between the two countries were discussed.
The event, which was held in order to strengthen the relations between Türkiye and Hungary and to exchange information, started with the Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Maraşlı's opening speech. Diplomacy Foundation Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuzhan Bilgin and IGU Department of Political Science and International Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Fuat Tuncer took part as a speaker. Academicians, experts and students from both Türkiye and Hungary participated in the symposium.
The symposium discussed relations from the past to the present, as well as collaborations in the modern era and potential future joint projects. In the symposium, which consisted of two sessions, the participants discussed a wide range of topics from historical documents to artistic interactions, from political transformations to economic collaborations. In particular, forward-looking steps were focused on the protection of cultural heritage and the development of joint projects.
At the symposium, which will contribute to the strengthening of historical and cultural ties between the two countries, topics that will pave the way for future cooperation were discussed. The symposium ended with the question and answer section where the participants interacted.
