Established in 2008 with success, human and science oriented philosophy of being under the leadership of Mr. Abdülkadir Gayretli Istanbul Gelişim University today continues the rapid development, in order to become a "Model University" in Turkey.
Defining that higher education is the most important tool of sustainable development, IGU today has about 25 thousand national and international students; There are 3 faculties, 3 vocational schools, 2 vocational schools and under 3 institutes 71 licenses, 57 preliminary daytime programs, 38 associate degree night programs, 16 thesis / 15 non-thesis postgraduate programs and 4 PhD programs.
IGU has adopted "Development" policyin all needed areas in Turkey and the World and until now has graduated close to 17 thousand students with leader qualifications trained in conformity with the principles and procedures of accreditations.
