II. International Short Film, Video and Photography Symposium was held!

Organized by the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts and supported by the T.R. General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, International Short Film, Video and Photography Symposium was successfully completed.

With the support of Istanbul Gelisim University and the T.R. General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, International Short Film, Video and Photography Symposium, with the participation of IGU Radio, Television and Cinema Department students in the organization and shooting teams, spent three successful days on 25-26-27 October 2024 at Kadıköy Barış Manço Cultural Center by presenting a full program.



The symposium, which started with the opening speech of Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan, symposium organizing committee chairma, hosted the presentations and videoart screenings of distinguished academicians working in the fields of short films, videos and photography for three days. Kerem Yükseloğlu, Emre Ahmet Seçmen, Ulaş Işıklar, Deniz Tortum, Özlem Şimşek and Eser Selen were the moderators of the symposium, where intense interest was observed.



With the presentations in the sessions titled "Artificial and Virtual Possibilities", "Short and Painless", "Between Game and Film", "Documentary and Its Interactive Form", "Possibilities of Stagnant Images" and "Digital Landscapes", academicians conveyed information about their works.
