ILETFEST2 will be held at IGU with "Communication and Sustainability: Shed Light on the Future!" theme

"Applied Communication Festival-2" will be held between 21-24 May 2024 by the three departments of Public Relations and Advertising, Television Journalism and Programming, New Media and Communication within the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Istanbul Gelisim University. The 2024 theme of the Applied Communication Festival (İLETFEST2) is was determined as "Communication and Sustainability: Shed Light on the Future!"

The second Applied Communication Festival organized by Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Applied Sciences, which aims to bring together students, academics and expert guests in the field with new developments in various fields of communication, will be held this year. Many activities such as panels, workshops, interviews, exhibitions and film screenings will take place in the main branches of communication such as cinema, journalism, advertising, public relations and new media. The festival, which will be a first in this field with its "applied", will also include workshops in order to provide students with theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills.
 
The theme of ILETFEST2 is “Communication and Sustainability”

The first 'Applied Communication Festival' attracted great attention from the students. They found it very useful for their career development. İLETFEST2 aims to explain the communication profession, developing technology and content issues, and its interaction with sustainability communication to students this year. In order to leave a better world for the future, activities in line with the "Sustainable Development Goals" will be organized at ILETFEST2 in order for students to understand the integration of the communication profession with the understanding of sustainability.
 
University-sector collaborations will be organized

İLETFEST2 will bring together professionals, students and academicians in the sector to discuss and share current issues in the field of communication. The festival also aims to pave the way for university-sector collaborations by bringing together students and professionals who aim for a career in communication.
