The opening ceremony of the “Digital Communication and Technology Laboratory” was held!

The opening ceremony of the "Digital Communication and Technology Laboratory", organized by the Departments of Public Relations and Advertising, Television Journalism and Programming, and New Media and Communication at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Istanbul Gelisim University was held.

Opening was held on Friday, May 26, 2023, between 10:00 and 11:00 with the participation of Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli, Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Nuri Kuruoğlu and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Kamil Kaya, Deputy Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Nevruz Berna Tatlısu, Head of Public Relations and Advertising Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel Tozlu Öztay, Head of New Media and Communication Department Assoc. Prof. Dr Şebnem Gürsoy Ulusoy, Television Journalism and Programming Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Hande Ulusoy and other lecturers and students.

“Progress Never Ends”

The ceremony, which started with the opening speeches, continued with the visit of the application exhibition consisting of the works of the students of Public Relations and Advertising, Television Journalism and Programming and New Media and Communication departments and presentation of the technical equipment in the laboratory. The opening ceremony of the Digital Communication and Technology Laboratory ended with the product shootings carried out by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Abdülkadir Gayretli and Rector Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin with the slogan "Progress Never Ends".
